What data we collect
ClaroGrid accesses your Shopify store data solely to provide bulk product editing functionality. We access:
- Product data (titles, prices, descriptions, images, variants, metafields, inventory, SEO data)
- Your Shopify store domain and shop information
- Session tokens for authentication
How we use your data
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Display and edit your products within the ClaroGrid interface
- Store edit history for undo/redo functionality
- Store catalog snapshots you create for backup and restore purposes
- Process scheduled operations you configure
Data storage and security
- Shopify access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption
- All data is stored on servers located in the EU (Hetzner, Germany)
- All connections use TLS 1.2 or higher
- We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties
Data retention
- Edit history and snapshots are retained per your plan (7, 30, or 90 days)
- Audit log entries are retained for the same duration as your plan
- When you uninstall ClaroGrid, all your data is deleted within 48 hours
GDPR compliance
We comply with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks:
- Customer data request: ClaroGrid does not store customer personal data
- Customer data erasure: ClaroGrid does not store customer personal data
- Shop data erasure: All store data is permanently deleted upon request
